Since 2017, Umami has been elevating lunch across Europe (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK) with their beautifully designed Bento boxes.  Umami's Bento boxes are known for keeping food fresh and come in chic, durable, and easy-to-use materials.

Umami enjoyed significant success on Amazon France in 2018. However, to achieve continued business growth, geographic expansion became a strategic priority. While Amazon presented a valuable platform for testing and accelerating entry into new markets, it also posed specific challenges:

Umami successfully navigated a multifaceted challenge: sustaining growth in its traditional market, reducing its dependency on it, and, most importantly, expanding into four new markets—Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK—which saw a remarkable 330% growth.
